Media and Information Literacy Courses

What is it?

Library staff offer Media and Information Literacy courses designed to help users develop the essential skills needed for study and research.

More specifically, the courses address a range of topics tailored to participants’ needs, including:

  • Library services and their use in support of study and research;
  • Information retrieval and literature search processes;
  • Information retrieval using Artificial Intelligence tools;
  • Open Science.
Where?

Courses are held in the Library’s Multimedia Room or, when necessary, in a dedicated classroom within the Faculty premises outside the Library.

How to join the initiative?

Media and Information Literacy courses are open to all members of the University community and are offered free of charge.

They are delivered within the framework of the Faculty’s bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes, as well as its doctoral programmes.

In addition, courses may be offered outside these degree and doctoral programmes upon request and by prior arrangement with the Library staff.
